Role Overview The Catering Manager 3 is the on‑site leader responsible for delivering high‑end, seamless catering operations for Sodexo’s Corporate Services account in Hudson Yards, New York City . This role oversees all aspects of catering production, service execution, event logistics, and client engagement within a fast‑paced, high‑visibility corporate environment. As the primary driver of catering excellence, the Catering Manager 3 manages event planning, staffing, service standards, and day‑of execution across a diverse portfolio of corporate events—from executive meetings and board‑level functions to large‑scale receptions and specialty activations. Success in this role requires strong expertise in premium catering operations , event logistics management , and client service leadership . The Catering Manager 3 partners closely with the General Manager, Executive Chef, and client stakeholders to ensure flawless event delivery and continuous improvement. What You'll Do Lead Premium Catering Operations — Oversee all catering production and service delivery for executive meetings, board‑level events, receptions, and specialty activations. Manage Event Planning & Logistics — Coordinate event details, timelines, room setups, staffing, and service flow to ensure flawless execution. Direct Catering Service Teams — Train, coach, and supervise front‑of‑house catering staff to deliver polished, high‑touch hospitality. Ensure Food Safety & Compliance — Maintain strict adherence to HACCP, Sodexo policies, and regulatory requirements across all catering operations. Support Labor & Financial Management — Assist with labor planning, scheduling, cost control, and budget alignment for catering programs. Partner With Culinary & Client Leadership — Collaborate with the Executive Chef, GM, and client stakeholders to enhance service standards, innovate offerings, and elevate the guest experience.
