Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough intake assessments to evaluate the mental health concerns, strengths, and specific needs of clients, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their emotional landscape.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on your assessments that align with client goals, utilizing evidence-based modalities tailored to their unique situations.

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions employing therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy to facilitate lasting change.

• Monitor and document clients’ progress meticulously throughout the therapeutic process, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure continued effectiveness.

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals—including psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and case managers—to coordinate comprehensive, integrated care.

• Advocate for clients’ rights, ensuring they have access to necessary mental health services and community resources, thereby contributing to improved overall well-being.

• Uphold confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards mandated by state licensing boards and professional organizations, fostering a safe and trustworthy environment for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work closely with a diverse patient population dealing with a range of mental health issues, including mood disorders, anxiety, relationship challenges, and family dynamics. Your expertise in understanding and addressing these issues will be crucial in helping them navigate their personal journeys toward healing and growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Arizona.

• Proven experience working in a therapeutic setting, with a strong foundation in providing mental health support.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, particularly in treating mood disorders.

• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly CBT and DBT, and a strong understanding of psychopharmacology.
