Accounts Payable Specialist

What you will enjoy doing* You will manageweekly/monthly/quarterly payments Process Voids, Reversals, andSpecial Handle Checks You will maintain AP Sub-ledger Manage AP outstanding checks You will manage outstanding credits You will assist Accounting with Escheatreview and compilation You will enter all invoice upload filestimely and accurately into AP system Pull various invoice detailsfrom supplier related websites to create and process uploads You will manage all aspects of theautomated freight process including processing and problem resolving Work with buyers, fieldpersonnel, and suppliers to resolve pricing and receiving discrepancies Back up support to manualprocessing including check requests, Purchase Order, and Non PurchaseOrder related invoices Back up support to AP InboundProcess support for overflow of Inbound phone calls What makes you great High School Diploma / GEDrequired - Associates degree or higher preferred You have 2+ years Accounts Payableexperience You are detail oriented, professionalattitude, and reliable Proficient with MicrosoftExcel, Word, and Access; JDE and OBIEE experience a plus You have strong organizational and timemanagement skills Strong problem-solving skillsand basic accounting principles knowledge including general ledgersystems, financial chart of accounts and corporate procedures You have the ability to work independentlyas well as with a team in a fast-paced environment, with emphasis onaccuracy and timeliness Effective verbal and writtencommunication skills You have the ability to interact withemployees and vendors in a professional manner Why you will love working with us Linde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company with 2025 sales of $34 billion.
