This position offers the flexibility and convenience of remote work while being closely connected to our outpatient office team in Chula Vista. Our structured work schedule runs Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 4 PM, with opportunities for flexible hours based on client needs, ensuring that you can provide optimal support to those you serve.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments for clients using evidence-based practices to develop individualized treatment plans that address trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues.

• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy, to meet the diverse needs of your clients.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical records in accordance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring all documentation meets legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in collaborative treatment planning and peer consultations to enhance the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions and to support a culture of shared learning.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment alternatives, and available community resources, fostering a supportive network for their recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a mental health therapist at Hillside Mindscape Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse client population, ranging from adolescents to adults facing various mental health challenges. Our clientele includes individuals dealing with trauma, anxiety disorders, depression, and relationship issues. Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.
