Clinical Nurse - Pediatric Operating Room

Role Overview: Provides direct patient care in the operating room environment, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing activities. Ensures patient and family-centered care by educating about post-treatment needs and medication management. Collaborates with the healthcare team to develop and document individualized care plans, promoting safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and barriers to involvement. Participate in professional development and promote a healing environment. Communicate care plans effectively across the continuum of care. Maintain a constant state of alertness, adhering to safety-sensitive protocols. Qualifications RN license with a Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree; BSN preferred. No prior experience required; less than 2 years preferred. Prior operating room nursing experience preferred. Must be able to work full-time, with on-call and holiday rotation.
