Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide safe, high-quality, patient-centered care across multiple locations. The RN will assess patients, develop and implement individualized care plans, administer and evaluate nursing interventions, educate patients and families, and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe and competent nursing care using the nursing process and evidence-based practices.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and apply critical-thinking skills.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals.
• Educate patients and caregivers regarding treatment plans, health promotion, and discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Promote patient safety, quality improvement, and positive patient experiences.
• Participate in patient rounding, care coordination, and discharge planning.
• Identify and escalate safety concerns or changes in patient condition.
• Support efficient patient flow and effective utilization of clinical resources.
• Demonstrate professional communication, compassion, empathy, and respect.

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State RN License
• BLS Certification
• BSN required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Minimum 2 years of Neuro experience
• EPIC experience highly preferred
• Strong patient assessment and critical-thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
• Must have reliable transportation/car
• Must be willing and able to travel to 3 locations

Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing ( BSN ) required.
