Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a Home Infusion Pharmacist to provide specialized pharmacy services in a controlled, sterile environment. This role focuses on preparing customized sterile medications, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and regulatory compliance.

Location:

• Norristown, PA

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Duration:

• Approximately 8+ weeks

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare sterile medications such as IV fluids, adhering strictly to aseptic techniques
• Verify the accuracy and sterility of compounded preparations
• Enforce compliance with USP and USP standards to maintain a safe medication environment
• Oversee pharmacy technicians to ensure quality and efficiency in daily operations
• Maintain and clean cleanroom equipment regularly to meet safety protocols
• Perform final inspections of sterile products before distribution

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active and clear Pennsylvania pharmacy license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in sterile compounding
• Proficient with computer systems and pharmacy software
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Ability to supervise and collaborate effectively with pharmacy technicians
