Per Diem Home Infusion Staff Pharmacist IV Certified - Pelham, AL

Job Description

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A per diem Staff Pharmacist position is available with a focus on home infusion pharmacy services. The role requires IV certification and experience in home infusion pharmacy operations. This opportunity offers flexible scheduling and the ability to provide essential infusion pharmacist coverage.

Birmingham, AL area

Schedule/Hours:

Wednesday, 9/2 through Friday, 9/4
Shift times to be confirmed

Responsibilities:

Dispense medications accurately and safely in accordance with prescription orders
Provide home infusion therapy support and guidance
Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
Maintain accurate records and documentation
Monitor inventory and manage medication storage

Qualifications:

Active pharmacist license with IV certification
Experience in home infusion pharmacy practice
Strong knowledge of medication therapy and administration
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and with a healthcare team
