6am-3pm Position Job Details Job Details: We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with a deep understanding of computer numerical control (CNC) machinery and mill operation. As a CNC Machinist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high quality of our products and ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package. Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines and milling machines to produce high-quality parts and materials
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to accurately produce parts
- Perform regular maintenance on machinery, equipment and tools, and ensure their optimal working condition
- Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve machine-related issues promptly and efficiently
- Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to improve manufacturing processes and overall product quality
- Adhere to all safety protocols and standard operating procedures
- Keep work area clean, organized, and safe at all times
- Train junior machinists and operators, imparting valuable skills and knowledge
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining CNC machines and milling machines
- Extensive knowledge of reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machine-related issues
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational certification in CNC machining or a related field is preferred
- Must be able to lift and move heavy objects, and stand for extended periods of time.
