Whitman Advisory, on behalf of our client, is assisting in the hiring of a Bankruptcy Associate Attorney . Bankruptcy Associate Attorney Employment Type Full-Time | On-site Location We are seeking a Bankruptcy Associate to join our New Jersey office. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with at least three years of bankruptcy experience who is looking to work on sophisticated matters in a collaborative and supportive environment. The ideal candidate is a motivated legal professional with strong analytical abilities, exceptional writing and communication skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding client service. Candidates with litigation experience are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Represent clients in a broad range of bankruptcy and insolvency matters. Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents. Conduct legal research and provide strategic analysis on bankruptcy-related issues. Manage matters from inception through resolution while maintaining strong client relationships. Appear in state and federal courts, including bankruptcy court, as needed. Collaborate with partners and fellow attorneys on complex legal matters. Participate in negotiations, court proceedings, and client meetings. Stay current on developments in bankruptcy law and related legal issues. Qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Active admission to the New Jersey Bar (required). Minimum of three years of bankruptcy law experience. Strong academic credentials. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Exceptional legal research, drafting, and analytical abilities. Litigation experience is a plus. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
