About The Role: As a Benefits Coordinator, you'll help support employees through some of life's biggest moments by guiding them through benefits, leave requests, and important people-related processes. You'll be a go-to resource for benefits questions, helping employees feel informed, supported, and cared for. From coordinating benefits education to keeping systems and records accurate, your work will help ensure a smooth experience for employees across the company. Here's a snapshot of what you'd be doing:- Supporting employees with leave and absence related tasks like time off requests, PTO donations, timesheet updates, growing family support, and other leave management needs.
- Serving as a friendly front-line contact for benefits questions by managing shared inboxes and helping employees find the answers and support they need.
- Coordinating benefits education efforts, including New Hire Orientation and outreach that helps employees better understand their available benefits.
- Maintaining accurate benefit eligibility tracking and partnering with vendors and Payroll to ensure employee information, deductions, and earnings stay up to date.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to help plan and execute employee-focused events like wellness screenings, open enrollment, and department events.
- Assisting with incoming mail like unemployment claims and verification letters, while also providing back-up support for 401k communication and education when needed.
- Supporting compliance processes related to evidence of insurability, domestic partner benefits, and COBRA administration.
- Pitching in wherever needed (excluding licensed tasks) to help foster a supportive and collaborative team culture.
- You're great at staying organized, managing multiple priorities, and keeping tasks on track in a fast-paced environment.
- You're a strong communicator who knows how to connect with people clearly and professionally, both written and verbally.
- You handle sensitive and confidential information with maturity, discretion, and care.
- You adapt well to change and can shift priorities while still delivering a great employee experience.
- Providing exceptional customer service comes naturally to you, and you genuinely enjoy helping others.
- You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with co-workers across teams.
- You show up consistently and can be counted on to get the job done.
- Experience in benefits or a related field is a plus, but we're also excited to train someone with the right mindset and transferable skills.
