Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate symptoms of mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder, focusing on their impact on daily life.

• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that reflect their unique needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate positive changes in client behavior and mindset.

• Provide ongoing education and supportive resources to clients and their families about mood disorders, various treatment approaches, and strategies for effective self-care.

• Monitor clients’ treatment progress meticulously, adjusting treatment strategies as needed to take into account their evolving needs.

• Engage in collaborative efforts with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to patient care.

• Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in mental health treatment to enhance clinical practice.

• Maintain strict confidentiality and accurate documentation of all patient interactions, assessments, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.

• Participate in case consultations, continuing education sessions, and professional development workshops to improve clinical skills and share best practices.

• Act as an advocate for patients, helping to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health issues and representing clients' interests in the broader community.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Florida.

• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• A strong understanding of psychopharmacology and the treatment approaches for mood disorders.

• Proficient technical skills with virtual therapy platforms and documentation systems.

Compensation and Benefits\n
