Accounts Payable Specialist The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for managing and processing all invoices received for payment and undertaking the payment of all creditors in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments. Job Description The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for managing and processing all invoices received for payment and undertaking the payment of all creditors in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments. Responsibilities Process 60-100 invoices per day. Review, verify, and process invoices and payment requests. Maintain and update vendor files, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date. Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments, as well as check payments. Reconcile accounts payable transactions and monitor accounts to ensure payments are up-to-date. Process employee expense reports and ensure compliance with company policies. Generate and analyze accounts payable reports and assist with month-end closing. Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures, and assist with audits as needed. Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues. Essential Skills Accounts payable Invoice processing Purchase order JDE Three-way match Microsoft Excel Qualifications 2-5 years of full cycle AP experience Experience in JDE Work Environment The work schedule is Monday through Friday with a flexible start time between 7:00-8:30 AM. Once fully trained, there is an option to work from home on Fridays. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chesterfield, MO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
