Inspire and empower young minds as an ELA teacher working with a vibrant group of middle school students! This contract opportunity is perfect for an educator who thrives in engaging classroom settings and enjoys shaping the literacy and critical thinking skills of 6th to 8th graders. Key Qualifications:
- Valid Colorado SPED Certificate required
- Experience teaching general education ELA to middle school students
- Strong classroom management and instructional skills
- Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive learning environment
- Comfortable with onsite instruction and collaborating with other educators
Your Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver dynamic ELA lessons to 6th-8th grade students
- Adapt instructional methods to meet diverse learning needs and abilities
- Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events
- Collaboratively develop and implement IEPs when needed
- Engage with students, families, and staff to support a positive school community
