As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol in Englewood, CO , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you. Pay Rate: $23.79 / Hour Job Schedule: Thur: 05:00 AM – 03:00 PM How This Role Works Fixed‑Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at public transportation locations. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate with site contacts, first responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols of transit stations, platforms, parking areas, administrative buildings, and perimeter locations to help deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions. Monitor access points, public areas, and restricted locations, assist with directing foot traffic, and document security‑related incidents, observations, and/or policy violations. Support a professional presence at government‑operated transportation facilities by following post orders, assisting with customer concerns, and reporting maintenance, hazard, and/or suspicious activity concerns to the appropriate personnel. Minimum Requirements One or more years of security‑related experience is required. A state, county, and/or city issued security‑related license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Pepper spray certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
