HCA Rose Medical Pre-Screening – Fill out form Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $20.78 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and notifying appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions. Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify authorized entry when required, and document security-related concerns, incidents, and/or observations according to site procedures. Support a professional atmosphere by communicating with hospital personnel, patients, and/or visitors, offering directions or assistance when needed, and reporting hazards or maintenance concerns to the proper contact. Minimum Requirements: Must be at least 21 years of age. Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Must have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare and/or medical-related field. Hospital vaccinations are required. Must be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue. Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting. Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
