Step into an impactful role supporting high school students as a dedicated Teacher of Students with Disabilities (TOSD). This full-day, full-time opportunity runs from December 16 through approximately June 21. You'll immerse yourself in an inclusive, collaborative high school environment, making a difference each day as you guide and inspire learners with diverse needs.

Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid state certification as a Teacher of Students with Disabilities (TOSD)
• Prior experience as a Special Education Teacher in a high school setting preferred
• Strong grasp of IEP development, implementation, and compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Ability to differentiate instruction and modify curriculum for students with disabilities
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Dedication to fostering an encouraging, structured, and inclusive classroom

Responsibilities and Expectations:

• Design and deliver engaging, standards-based instruction tailored to varying ability levels
• Develop, monitor, and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, therapists, and support staff
• Track student progress, document data, and participate actively in IEP meetings
• Maintain a positive classroom environment that supports academic, social, and emotional growth
• Communicate regularly with families regarding progress, challenges, and strategies for student success
• Fulfill the full-day schedule, working from 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM
