Founded in 2023, Sun State Eye Care is a caring and supportive practice dedicated to providing personalized eye care in a welcoming environment. With a focus on primary care, ocular disease, and binocular vision, the practice is growing its full-scope services to include ocular aesthetics and vision therapy, offering Optometrists the opportunity to help shape an expanding patient-centered practice alongside a collaborative team of 14 professionals.

In this role, you'll provide comprehensive eye care for patients of all ages, including diagnosing, treating, and managing ocular conditions such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, dry eye disease, macular degeneration, and ocular infections. You'll prescribe eyewear and fit contact lenses, deliver medical eye care within the Arizona scope of practice, and use advanced diagnostic technology, including Optovue OCT and Fundus Camera, Oculus visual field, Neurolens, Zeiss iProfiler auto-refractor, topographer, and auto-phoropter, to support accurate evaluations and personalized treatment plans. You'll also educate patients, coordinate care with other healthcare providers, maintain timely electronic medical records, collaborate with technicians, opticians, and administrative staff, and build lasting patient relationships through compassionate, high-quality care in a flexible 21- to 36-hour weekly schedule.

You're a compassionate, motivated Optometrist with a valid Arizona optometry license and a genuine commitment to delivering exceptional eye care for patients of all ages. With preferred experience in binocular vision and ocular disease, you're confident managing a wide range of visual and medical needs while staying current on advancements in optometry and personalized treatment options. You communicate clearly, work well with others, and thrive in a collaborative environment alongside opticians, technicians, and administrative staff, bringing both clinical competence and a patient-first mindset to support the continued growth and success of the practice.
