This position is primarily remote, allowing our therapists to provide care from their own home settings, while still maintaining access to our innovative outpatient office facilities in Denver, Colorado. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Heritage Behavioral Health, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments of clients’ mental health and emotional well-being to develop personalized treatment plans.
\n
• Facilitating therapeutic sessions for couples, which includes joint sessions and individual treatments, tailored to individual needs.
\n
• Treating a diverse range of issues such as alcohol abuse, domestic conflict, grief and loss, blended family dynamics, and communication difficulties.
\n
• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic techniques, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of best practices in family therapy.
\n
• Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
\n
• Documenting client progress and treatment outcomes within our electronic health record system to support continuity of care.
\n
• Providing psychoeducation and support to families involved in therapy to enhance motivation and engagement in the therapeutic process.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your practice will encompass a wide variety of clients, focusing on couples, families, and individuals including adults, children, and adolescents facing mental health challenges. The therapist will specialize in addressing significant family dynamics and conflicts that may stem from life changes such as separation, divorce, or the unique challenges of blended families. A commitment to understanding each client's unique culture and background will also be essential in delivering effective care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.

• Active, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
