Location: Neenah, WI (Onsite)
$23.00 - $24.00 per hour
Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support daily accounting and administrative operations. This temp-to-hire opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys a variety of responsibilities, thrives in a fast-paced office environment, and has experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and office administration.
What You'll Do

• Process incoming customer payments, including ACH, credit card, and check transactions
• Generate invoices and assist with monitoring outstanding customer accounts
• Maintain accurate customer payment records and account information
• Process customer credits, rebills, and credit reference requests
• Assist with month-end accounting activities, including account reconciliations and balancing
• Process accounts payable invoices, including trade and expense invoices
• Prepare vendor payments via ACH and check
• Set up and maintain customer and vendor accounts
• Maintain organized filing systems and documentation
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls while providing professional customer service
• Support quality and compliance initiatives
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 2+ years of administrative and/or accounting experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently

Training Available

The following systems and programs can be taught after hire:

• Epicor Profit21 ERP System
• ISO and Quality Management System (QMS) procedures
• Workplace Safety Programs
