We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Payable Specialist to join our accounting team and help ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and vendor communications.Position SummaryThe Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for managing the day-to-day accounts payable process, including invoice entry, coding, payment processing, vendor support, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role works closely with internal departments and external vendors to ensure invoices are processed efficiently and in accordance with company procedures.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess and review vendor invoices for accuracy and proper codingMatch invoices with purchase orders, receipts, and supporting documentationEnsure timely payment of invoices and resolve discrepancies as neededCommunicate with vendors regarding payment status, account questions, and invoice issuesMaintain organized and accurate accounts payable records and documentationAssist with weekly check runs, ACH payments, and credit card reconciliationsSupport month-end closing processes, including accruals and AP reconciliationsWork closely with operations teams and department leaders to resolve invoice or approval issuesAssist with 1099 preparation and year-end reporting activitiesIdentify opportunities to improve AP workflows and efficiencyMaintain confidentiality of financial and company informationQualificationsAssociate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred1–3 years of accounts payable or accounting support experience preferredStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a high-volume environmentComfortable communicating with vendors and internal leadership teamsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software systemsAbility to work independently while also collaborating with a teamBenefits & PayRange of pay from $20.00-26.00/hour based upon experienceHealth, Dental, Vision and Voluntary insurance401k retirement planGrowth and development opportunitiesPaid time off and holiday payCollaborative team environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
