Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mood disorders, including evaluating symptoms such as intensity, frequency, and duration.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate effective treatment.

• Continuously monitor and track client progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily involves working with individuals affected by mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. You will also engage with special populations, including homeless individuals, refugees, and victims of domestic abuse, providing compassionate support to those facing some of life’s most challenging circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess a current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.
