Job Description

Support students in their academic and personal growth in a dynamic school environment as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist. This opportunity allows you to focus on your specialty, enhancing communication abilities and making a meaningful impact on students’ daily lives. Your expertise in school-based speech therapy can elevate the quality of care and education for children, ensuring a supportive and nurturing atmosphere.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience with school-age children in educational settings strongly desired
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and support staff
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students’ speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student goals
  • Deliver therapy sessions—individual or group—to address speech and language delays or disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers to foster inclusive classroom strategies and accommodations
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, providing expertise on communication interventions
  • Maintain clear and timely records, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations
