Billing Specialist
SEARCH has immediate opening for a Full-Time Billing Specialist to join our accounting team. The position can be remote, hybrid, or office going depending on candidate preference and location. SEARCH provides a flexible work environment, a professional and collaborative atmosphere, and a wide range of projects and opportunities for our staff. Pay is commensurate with education and experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and issue customer invoices accurately and on schedule
- Review billing data for completeness and resolve discrepancies before processing
- Maintain billing records
- Monitor aging reports and support collections efforts as needed
- Respond to internal and external inquiries related to billing and account status
- Collaborate with Project Controllers to ensure correct billable information
- Assist with month-end closing activities related to revenue and billing
- Identify process improvement opportunities and help implement best practices
- Other duties as assigned.
