Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at our outpatient treatment center for young adults, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Facilitating Group Therapy: Design and lead dynamic therapy sessions that promote peer interaction, allowing clients to share experiences and support one another through guided discussions.

• Providing Individual Therapy: Conduct thorough assessments and personalized therapy sessions for clients, focusing on their emotional and psychological needs while helping them develop coping strategies.

• Creating Treatment Plans: Collaborate with clients to establish individualized treatment goals, selecting appropriate evidence-based interventions that align with their unique circumstances.

• Monitoring Progress: Utilize assessment tools to evaluate client progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary and maintaining accurate documentation for each client.

• Collaboration: Work alongside a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive care for your clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on young adults aged 18 to 30, navigating a myriad of mental health challenges commonly experienced during this transitional phase of life. Through our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), you will engage with clients who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and social adjustment issues. This role not only involves therapeutic interventions but also incorporates an educational component, empowering clients to understand and take ownership of their mental health.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s Degree in a relevant field, such as counseling, psychology, marriage and family therapy, or social work.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in your state.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in teletherapy, a background in working with young adult populations, and familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) will be highly regarded.

Compensation and Benefits\n
