Accounting Clerk

Accounting Clerk Insight Global is seeking an Accounting Clerk to support a growing finance organization in Scottsdale, AZ. This individual will serve as a key member of the accounting team by supporting day-to-day operations across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Commission Processing, and Month-End Close activities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to expand their accounting skill set while partnering with multiple departments across the business. Day-to-Day - Process Accounts Payable transactions, including vendor setup, invoice review, and payment processing - Research and resolve payment discrepancies and vendor inquiries - Track vendor contracts and renewal dates while coordinating with internal stakeholders - Assist with annual 1099 reporting and compliance activities - Generate customer invoices and follow up on outstanding receivables - Perform monthly A/R reviews and collections follow-up on past-due balances - Post and reconcile daily bank transactions and account activity - Process and record commission statements received from external partners - Research commission-related questions and collaborate with Operations and Sales teams - Assist with month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, prepaid expenses, and GL coding corrections Why Someone Would Be Interested - Broad exposure across nearly every area of accounting and finance - Opportunity to gain hands-on experience with NetSuite, Coupa, and Salesforce - Strong contract-to-hire potential - Collaborative team environment with visibility across multiple departments - Excellent opportunity for an Accounting Clerk, Accounting Assistant, AP Specialist, AR Specialist, Bookkeeper, or Junior Accountant looking to advance their career We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Skills and Requirements - 2+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, or accounts receivable experience - Experience processing invoices, payments, or reconciliations - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Experience working within accounting systems or ERP platforms - Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines - Strong communication and problem-solving skills - Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Experience with NetSuite - Experience with Coupa - Experience supporting month-end close activities - Experience processing commissions - Exposure to Salesforce - Experience with 1099 preparation and reporting - Financial services, insurance, or professional services industry experience
