Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active SLP licensure in Rhode Island (or eligibility to obtain)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, CFY candidates will be considered
• Previous school-based experience is highly desirable
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Comfortable working with a diverse caseload of students

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and deliver direct therapy services to students with speech and language needs
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in compliance with state and school guidelines
• Consult with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students’ growth and progress
• Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and staff conferences
• Employ evidence-based practices to address a variety of communication disorders
• Provide instructional support, resources, and training to school staff as needed
