Work Environment

This position is located onsite at our outpatient office in Oxnard, where you will join a team of two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA). Our collaborative environment fosters growth, learning, and shared success as we work together to achieve optimal patient outcomes. The standard work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing a healthy work-life balance while dedicating yourself to your passion for patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' conditions by assessing their physical capabilities, understanding their goals, and creating customized treatment plans.
• Provide one-on-one sessions to each patient, maintaining a manageable patient load of one individual per hour to ensure quality attention and care.
• Utilize a variety of treatment techniques and modalities, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities like ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
• Develop fitness and wellness programs tailored specifically to each patient's needs, promoting the restoration of movement and function.
• Monitor patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary and communicating effectively with patients regarding their journey towards recovery.
• Engage in continuous dialogue with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care and address patients' multifaceted needs.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment diagrams using EMR software, ensuring compliance and facilitating smooth continuity of care.
• Inspire and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey to foster commitment to treatment and overall wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily caters to patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions, all seeking to improve their physical capabilities. Our commitment to personalized care means that each patient receives a unique treatment plan that aligns with their specific conditions and recovery goals. With a focus on restoring movement, our therapists integrate holistic approaches to elevate patient well-being and enhance functionality.

Qualifications

• Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program (Doctorate preferred) and possess an active Physical Therapist license in California.
• No board actions or disciplinary measures should be associated with the license.
• Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy techniques and the design of exercise programs tailored to improve movement and physical function.
• Proficient in utilizing EMR Software, particularly WebPT, to streamline patient care documentation and management.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with a minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopedic outpatient care will be prioritized. Experience with diverse patient populations and conditions will further enhance your ability to work effectively in our multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this role ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
