Primary Location: United States (US) - Iowa - Urbandale Function: People and Culture (CA) Title: HR Representative

The preferred location for this position is Urbandale, IA. At the discretion of the hiring manager, the role may be based out of Moline, IL.

Your Responsibilities

As an HR Representative for John Deere Intelligent Solutions Group located in Urbandale, IA, you will:

• Support a variety of Human Resources processes at the unit/site level by applying sound judgment, HR knowledge, and relevant experience
• Provide entry-level HR analysis, data support, and day-to-day assistance to managers, employees, and business partners
• Collect, maintain, analyze, and deliver HR data and insights to support business decisions, workforce planning, and operational needs
• Build effective relationships with business partners by providing timely and proactive guidance, support, and follow-through on HR-related matters
• Support and facilitate early talent programs, including interns, part-time students, and development program participants
• Partner with Talent Acquisition and support the business through the full recruitment process
• Assist managers in understanding and applying key HR practices, Deere HR policies, the code of conduct, talent planning, Global Performance Management, employee development, coaching, and team assimilation processes

What Skills You Need

• 1+ year of experience in HR processes such as recruiting/staffing, operations, benefits, employee programs
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence without authority and collaborate with all levels of leadership and functions
• Experienced in operating within ambiguity and ability to drive results amidst competing priorities
• Collaborative team player with a strong drive to create a positive John Deere employee experience

What Makes You Stand Out

• Experience leveraging HR People Tools (we use Talent Central)
• Knowledge and experience providing guidance and coaching to employees and managers including coaching, performance, and disciplinary situations
• Technology skills including Excel, PowerBI, Power Apps, etc.
• Experience working with tech talent or in the tech industry
• HR certification (i.e. SHRM, HRCI)

Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level
