Senior Contract Manager

Location (city, state): McLean, VA (Fully In-Office) Compensation: $65-68/hr; $140K on conversion Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). Qualifications: 5-10 years of hands‑on contracts experience in a government contracting environment Experience supporting both prime and subcontract environments Technical Skills: Deep working knowledge of FAR and DFARS IDIQ and task order vehicles GSA Schedule administration Cost‑type / CPFF contracts Subcontract administration and compliance FAR/DFARS flow‑down analysis Incurred cost submissions Labor category mapping and rate validation Contract management systems such as Unanet, Deltek Costpoint, JAMIS, or equivalent MS Office Job Description: Manage the full lifecycle of a diverse contract portfolio, including IDIQs, task orders, GSA Schedules, and cost‑type/CPFF contracts. Draft, negotiate, and execute NDAs, teaming agreements, subcontracts, and contract modifications . Manage subcontractor compliance and contractual flow‑down requirements, including FAR/DFARS clause applicability analysis . Administer SBA joint venture agreements and ensure ongoing operational compliance. Support preparation of incurred cost submissions and coordinate DCAA audit support activities. Maintain accurate, complete, and audit‑ready records within the contract management system. Provide proposal pricing support as needed, including labor category mapping, rate validation, and cost narrative review . Identify contractual and business risks early and escalation issues appropriately before they develop into disputes. Support both prime and subcontract activities across the portfolio. Partner with internal stakeholders and leadership to ensure contracts are administered effectively and in accordance with applicable regulations and company requirements. Assess competing priorities, determine what requires attention, and independently execute without extensive day‑to‑day direction.
