This position is primarily remote, with the flexibility of an outpatient office setting for sessions as needed. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will be integral to the treatment process, with the following key responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients.

• Collaborate with clients in developing individualized treatment plans that align with their personal goals, preferences, and therapeutic needs.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to effectively manage and treat mood disorders.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, therapeutic options, and self-care strategies, fostering an informed and empowered client base.

• Monitor and document client progress systematically, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and medical professionals to ensure integrated and holistic care.

• Stay current with the latest research and developments in mood disorder treatment to enhance service delivery.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional education opportunities.

• Advocate for the needs of clients, helping to destigmatize mental health issues and promote accessibility to care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will include working with individuals, couples, and families affected by mood disorders, encompassing depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, and more. You will provide support to a diverse range of clients, including those experiencing homelessness, refugees, and victims of domestic abuse, empowering them to achieve recovery and stability.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with clients.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively manage case load and related administrative tasks.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
