Regional Director, Youth Services

General Purpose Under the limited supervision of the Chief Program Officer, this position is directly accountable for the day‑to‑day operations of all Club programs and services in a region to be determined. This includes all aspects of leadership and supervision related to maximizing the impact on the young people served. Incumbent is a member of the organization’s Senior Program Leadership Team. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Club Services: Meet all established membership and daily attendance goals for the region. Oversee multiple elementary school Clubs with annual program plans covering five core areas for before‑and‑after‑school programs. Oversee multiple Teen Clubs with annual program plans covering five core areas for after‑school and evening programs. Oversee multiple Summer Camps with themed day camps, including high quality program offerings, field trips, special events, and curriculum design. Develop additional enrichment initiatives and partnerships that advance impact on Club youth in priority outcome areas of Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles, Good Character, and Creative Expression. Handle club logistics for daily program implementation, including staffing, supply procurement & distribution, special events, and field trips. Assist with partnership alignment and contract management with school site & district leadership regarding facility use and academic progress of members. Develop and operate fee‑supported sports leagues. Ensure participation and revenue goals are met for fee‑based services. Oversee member registration, ensuring current memberships and timely fee collection. Ensure daily attendance is recorded properly and on time. Complete all other administrative tasks for the region on time and accurately. Human Resources: Recruit and build a supportive, energetic, and effective regional team of Area Directors, Club Leads, and program support staff. Provide communication, support, and feedback, and facilitate training, coaching, and development. Planning: Assist in developing the annual program plan with tangible, measurable goals and gather feedback from members and staff. Evaluation & Quality Improvement: Implement established tools to measure club program effectiveness and manage continuous quality improvement. Finance: Ensure regional expenses align with the budget, including payroll and supplies; meet revenue goals; follow timelines and processes. Grant Compliance & Tracking: Maintain accurate club data, including member attendance and demographics, and meet all established requirements. Safety Officer: Act as Safety Officer for the region, ensuring a safe environment and reporting accidents, injuries, or safety concerns. Volunteer Development: Work with Volunteer Services to identify volunteer needs and opportunities and ensure compliance with standards. Community Relations: Support high awareness of club programs and maintain excellent relations with primary partners, convening collaborative groups as requested. Computer skills: Microsoft Office, website & membership database management. Demonstrated organizational, staff, and project management abilities. Requirements Education & Experience: Four‑year degree in a related field from an accredited college or university; Master's preferred. Minimum of five years management experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar multi‑million dollar organization, planning and supervising activities based on developmental needs of young people. Experience working with local government, boards of directors, and major donors. Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
