Assignment Details

Guaranteed Hours: 36.00 Contract Weeks: 13

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience is required
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice is required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor is preferred
• Clinical specialty and/or nursing administration certification is preferred
• Five years' technical experience is preferred
• Supervisory experience or demonstrated supervisory skills is required
• Experience with a trauma center is preferred
• Epic experience is required

Responsibilities

• Provide unit-based leadership in the development and provision of clinical services
• Supervise and direct unit personnel
• Initiate and coordinate individual and team conferences with health team members, patients, and families to revise care plans
• Monitor personnel performance in patient care activities to ensure quality of work
• Foster an environment of patient and family-centered care, considering cultural diversity and personal needs
• Solicit feedback on nursing services and address patient care concerns
• Develop strategies to improve customer satisfaction
