Insurance Defense Attorney

Associate Attorney - General Liability Defense Schedule: Hybrid Experience: 3+ years A growing Orlando defense firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its general liability litigation practice. This role offers meaningful defense work, a supportive team environment, a flexible hybrid schedule, and reasonable billable hour expectations. The ideal candidate will have experience handling general liability, insurance defense, or civil litigation matters and be comfortable managing cases independently while working closely with partners, clients, and support staff. Responsibilities Manage general liability defense matters from inception through resolution Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation documents Take and defend depositions Attend hearings, mediations, and trials as needed Communicate with clients, experts, opposing counsel, and court personnel Work with senior attorneys on case strategy Qualifications 3+ years of general liability, insurance defense, or civil litigation experience Active Florida Bar license in good standing Strong writing, research, analytical, and communication skills Ability to manage deadlines and cases independently Experience with discovery, depositions, hearings, and motion practice preferred Why This Role Low billable hour expectations Supportive and collaborative team environment Strong work-life balance Opportunity to develop litigation skills with experienced attorneys #J-18808-Ljbffr
