What You’ll Do As a Liability Claims Attorney, you will manage a portfolio of bodily injury & property damage liability claims while delivering an exceptional experience for our clients and broker partners. Key responsibilities include: Provide industry-leading service to insureds, brokers, & business partners Manage all aspects of assigned claims & litigation from initial investigation through resolution Analyze coverage issues & develop effective claim-handling strategies Collaborate with insureds, defense counsel, and internal stakeholders to evaluate liability, damages, and resolution options Select & manage outside counsel, investigators, and subject matter experts Prepare comprehensive reports & reserve recommendations for internal & external stakeholders Participate in mediations, settlement conferences, trials, & other proceedings Support strategic initiatives, process improvements, and special projects across the Claims organization Travel approximately 30% to meet with clients, brokers, attend industry conferences, and visit company offices Qualifications Legal qualification strongly preferred; experienced insurance litigation attorneys are encouraged to apply Preferably 5-12 years experience handling legal disputes and/or bodily injury & property damage claims Strong understanding of U.S. insurance claims processes; international claims experience is beneficial Exceptional analytical, investigative, & problem-solving abilities Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively Detail-oriented with strong decision-making & negotiation capabilities Ability to work both independently & collaboratively within a team environment Pay Range Anticipated Pay Range For This Role Is: $140,000 - $160,000 This pay range represents the base annual full-time salary for this position. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate including but not limited to relevant experience, education, geography and skill set. All full-time positions are eligible to participate in Global’s profit-sharing plan program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
