Controller-Construction, subcontractor Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Controller to oversee the financial operations of our client’s organization. This role is responsible for managing accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting strategic financial planning. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of accounting principles. Key Responsibilities: Manage and supervise daily accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business decisions Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors and regulatory agencies Lead and develop the accounting team to enhance performance and efficiency Implement and maintain accounting policies and procedures to improve financial processes Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory roles Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards, WIP Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis What We Offer: Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package Opportunities for professional growth and development Supportive work environment with a focus on work-life balance Placement with reputable companies in the Fresno area #J-18808-Ljbffr
