Job Summary:
A registered nurse specializing in telemetry at a healthcare facility located in Phoenix, Arizona. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This role involves providing patient care within the Neuro Acute unit, with a focus on critical assessment and early detection of small clinical changes.

Job Details:

• Shift: 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
• Schedule: Minimum of 36 hours per week, including a four-week rotation that incorporates weekend shifts and holiday coverage.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, minimum of 2 years of recent telemetry or acute care experience, working knowledge of Cerner electronic medical record system.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Neuro Acute care, BSN degree, certification in Medical-Surgical or Telemetry nursing.
• Additional Information: Nursing staff will rotate into holiday shifts and work into the holiday rotation schedule. The unit primarily manages patients with epilepsy, brain tumors, subdural hematomas, scoliosis surgeries, traumatic brain injuries, and neuro diagnoses. The team includes charge nurses, resource RNs, PCTs, and a 24/7 respiratory therapy and pharmacy support.
• Float: First to float; may be floated to Medical-Surgical or Telemetry units, possibly at Westgate or AZ General Laveen campuses.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS required.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in neuro, telemetry, or acute care nursing.
• Start Date: 07/27/2026.
• Location: 350 W. Thomas Road, Phoenix, AZ 85013.
