Job Summary:
The Neuro Acute Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in a specialized neuro unit responsible for patients with neurological conditions. This role requires a highly skilled RN with strong critical thinking and assessment abilities to detect subtle changes in patient conditions. The position involves 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with a schedule that includes holiday rotation, providing comprehensive neuro care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Position: Registered Nurse - Neuro Acute
• Specialty: Telemetry
• Location: 350 W. Thomas Road, Phoenix, AZ 85013
• Schedule: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Shift Notes: 12-hour night shifts; 4 total weekend shifts per 4-week period; holiday shifts based on unit coverage
• Required Qualifications: Valid license; at least 2 years of clinical experience; BLS and ACLS certifications; Cerner Electronic Medical Record system experience; willing to wait for license submission
• Preferred Qualifications: BSN preferred; formal certification in Med Surg/Telemetry preferred
• Float: First to float; possible assignments to Med/Surg, Telemetry, or other units
• Additional Information: Work into holiday rotation; strong assessment skills for neurological patient care, including detection of small changes; educational experience in lifts, restraints, and wound care; must pass clinical dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance
• Certification and Experience: BLS, ACLS required; minimum 2 years of experience required; license to submit; willing to wait for license approval
