The Opportunity In this role you will have the opportunity to: Manage a program with very large or complex inter‑related projects or multiple moderate size projects, representing multisector Capital Improvement Plans ranging from hundreds of millions to more than $1B in total capital value Represent the owner in managing 3rd party designers and constructors Represent the organization as the primary contact on contracts and projects Be responsible for all aspects of the program including all phases of planning and execution of a Capital Improvement Plan Lead multi‑disciplinary teams to respond to client priorities The Team This role will be a part of BV Operations, within the Civil Infrastructure sub‑discipline focused on water infrastructure support efforts including, but not limited to, treatment facilities, conveyance/collection systems, and program management. Key Responsibilities Provide oversight and direction to B&V project managers, construction managers, program professionals, and subcontractors Operate in complex management environments with multiple stakeholders Interact with senior government or public officials and/or executive‑level clients on significant project matters Manage and supervise complex engineering design or construction by 3rd parties as owner’s representative Prepare and deliver presentations in support of client programs Assess and actively manage risk on behalf of client and B&V Routinely resolve high risk or very difficult issues with significant scope, schedule and/or financial impact Develop and review cost estimates and provide cost management throughout program execution Apply advanced understanding and application of project management core processes and methodologies Utilize lessons learned to strengthen B&V’s program management processes, procedures and tools Assemble, train and mentor staff using internal and external resources Preferred Qualifications MSc Eng., MBA or similar Active P.E., PgMP, or PMP Utility Manager or Program Manager with experience managing CIP projects from >$1.5M to $10M+ construction value, including at least one project >$10M Previous experience leading or overseeing design of at least 5 concurrent design projects in sectors such as stormwater/drainage, roads and/or bridges, parks & rec facilities, wastewater treatment facilities or linear infrastructure Minimum Qualifications 9+ years in a senior project and/or program management role; e.g., PM, EM, Planning, Project Controls Must complete pre‑employment onboarding requirements (criminal/civil background check, drug screen, motor vehicle records search) Certifications Active P.E., PgMP, or PMP Work Environment/Physical Demands Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days based on manager discretion, performance, and work assignments Typical office and construction environments; extreme weather conditions, high noise level, safety hazards, exposure to chemicals, fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, poor ventilation Sitting, walking, talking, hearing, reading, writing, keyboarding, driving, filing, reaching, stooping, crouching, bending, standing for extended periods; lifting up to 40 pounds Salary Plan PMT: Project Management Job Grade 019 Equal Employment Opportunity BVH, Inc., its subsidiaries and affiliated companies comply with all EEO laws and regulations.
