Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, including psychosocial evaluations and diagnostic interviews, to inform treatment planning.

• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, taking into account their specific needs, goals, and cultural backgrounds.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions—such as CBT, DBT, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)—to facilitate healing in individual, couple, family, and group sessions.

• Provide crisis intervention services, ensuring swift coordination with medical staff and other healthcare professionals in cases of acute patient distress.
\n
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans, complying with clinic policies, regulatory guidelines, and best practices.

• Deliver psychoeducation to clients and their families, empowering them with the skills and knowledge necessary to navigate their mental health conditions.

• Conduct regular outcome assessments to measure treatment effectiveness and make evidence-based adjustments to care plans as needed.

• Stay updated on the latest research and emerging trends in mental health to integrate innovative practices into your clinical work.

• Adhere to ethical standards and respect client confidentiality in all interactions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will focus on clients seeking detoxification from substances, many of whom may have experienced trauma. Your work will help individuals build resilience and develop mental health coping strategies; thus, fostering recovery and reintegration into their lives. You will provide culturally sensitive care, recognizing the various backgrounds and personal narratives that shape our clients’ experiences.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or equivalent required.

• Active State license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The Family and Kids Behavioral Counseling Center offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $84,000 annually, contingent upon experience and qualifications.
