Overview PAGNY is adding a Pediatric Primary Care Physician to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi and North Central Bronx (NCB). Jacobi Medical Center is a 457-bed, Level I Trauma Center and NCB has 213 licensed beds. The hospitals maintain a strong academic affiliation with Albert Einstein College of Medicine to sustain high-quality care across emergency medicine, trauma, pediatrics, primary care, and women’s health. Responsibilities Independently complete history and physical examinations, interpret data, and determine appropriate diagnoses and treatment plans. Order and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic tests as clinically appropriate. Perform medically necessary physical exams as part of the standard course of treatment for each patient. Collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues as an integral part of a world-class health system. Manage all patient interactions within the area of service. May manage both acute and chronic conditions. Work schedule may include evenings and weekends. Qualifications Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics. Active New York State Medical License. Compensation and Benefits Base salary ranges reflect 40-hour work weeks and vary by board certification status: Annual Base Salary: $236,000 (board eligible) or $241,000 (board certified). The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $355,120 (board eligible) or $360,620 (board certified), including base salary plus benefits such as 401(k) contributions and additional compensation for sessional/per diem hours. Additional details include: Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours per week: $55,520. Projected bonus of up to $40,000 based on quality and productivity targets. 401(k) Company Contribution: 3% immediately; after one year, 7% additional company contribution.
