Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical capabilities and limitations, establishing individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
• Implement various therapeutic techniques, such as exercise therapy, manual therapy, stretching exercises, and the use of specialized equipment to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Regularly track, document, and evaluate patients' progress, adjusting treatment goals and plans based on their response to therapy.
• Educate patients and their caregivers on exercises, assistive devices, and proper self-care techniques to promote independence and support recovery.
• Participate in ongoing professional development by attending workshops, staying current with industry publications, and being active within professional organizations.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care and to optimize patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including both children and adults across various diagnoses. This can range from post-surgical rehabilitation, sports-related injuries, to chronic pain management cases. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia.
• Proven written and verbal communication skills, with a strong emphasis on patient education.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
