Work Environment

Our Alexandria rehabilitation facility is equipped with the latest therapeutic technology and resources, creating an optimal environment for both our therapists and patients. As a member of our team, you will enjoy scheduled hours from Monday to Friday, either from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions to develop effective treatment plans tailored to their specific recovery goals.
• Implementing diverse therapeutic techniques that may include exercises, stretching, manual therapy, and the use of specialized equipment designed to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Regularly documenting treatment sessions, monitoring patient progress, and adjusting therapy plans as necessary based on ongoing evaluations.
• Educating patients and their families about recovery processes and the skilled use of assistive devices to promote self-sufficiency and safety.
• Engaging in continual professional development by attending workshops, reviewing literature, and collaborating with peers to stay updated on best practices in the field.

You will serve a diverse patient population, including children and adults with various diagnoses and rehabilitation needs. Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice Physical Therapy.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, demonstrating proficiency in patient assessment and treatment implementation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interaction with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members.
• Proficiency in computer applications, particularly those related to patient documentation and progress tracking.

Preferred Experience

While two years of direct experience is required, candidates with additional experience in outpatient rehabilitation, orthopedic therapy, or pediatrics are encouraged to apply.
