Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of clients’ mental health status utilizing various diagnostic tools and methodologies.

• Design and implement tailored therapeutic strategies to address the unique needs of individuals, families, couples, and groups.

• Utilize evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short-term therapy, to provide effective interventions.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, treatment plans, and client progress in accordance with HIPAA and regulatory guidelines.

• Participate in continuous professional development and training to stay efficient in the latest therapeutic practices and community resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clientele served at Prestige Life Counseling Center encompasses a broad spectrum of mental health challenges, including but not limited to substance abuse disorders, depression, anxiety, and eating disorders. The LPC you will engage with can expect to facilitate healing processes for individuals facing unique struggles and complexities, requiring a deep understanding and a versatile approach to therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas is mandatory.

• A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience is required, showcasing competent skills in client management and therapy delivery.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse, or trauma-focused therapy will be highly regarded, and will enhance the breadth and depth of support provided to clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
