Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Heart Share Healthcare Center, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Group Therapy Facilitation: You will conduct engaging group therapy sessions, creating a safe space for clients to share experiences, foster connection, and provide mutual support.

• Individual Counseling: You will deliver empathetic individual therapy sessions, helping clients explore their emotions, develop coping mechanisms, and establish actionable life goals.

• Treatment Planning: Collaborating with clients, you will craft individualized treatment plans founded on each client's unique needs, preferences, and behavioral health goals.

• Progress Monitoring: Utilizing various assessment tools, you will evaluate client progress and adjust treatment strategies to ensure effective outcomes and growth.

• Multidisciplinary Collaboration: You will work closely with other professionals on the healthcare team, sharing critical patient insights and coordinating efforts for comprehensive care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on assisting young adults between the ages of 18 and 30 who are navigating mental health challenges. Our state-of-the-art outpatient treatment center provides evidence-based and holistic therapy options, aiming to support clients in their recovery journey within a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP).

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field, along with at least 1 year of experience in a counseling or therapeutic setting. A valid LPC license in New Jersey is required to proceed with clinical responsibilities.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of 1 year of experience is essential, candidates with additional experience in group therapy and working with young adult populations will be highly regarded. Experience in telehealth counseling is also advantageous, as this role will leverage digital platforms for client interactions.

Compensation and Benefits\n
