Senior Civil Designer

Cooperidge Consulting Firm is seeking a Senior Civil Designer or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) for a top Infrastructure Engineering client. This role is based in Mesa, AZ, and requires a driven professional passionate about hands‑on design for complex civil projects, including roadway alignments, utility systems, and civil site design. Job Responsibilities Design and develop core civil engineering projects, including roadway alignments, water, sewer, and drainage systems. Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to support smart and sustainable design decisions. Prepare comprehensive engineering plans, specifications, and detailed cost estimates with precision. Collaborate closely with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. Ensure all designs strictly adhere to local, state, and federal regulations and project standards. Support and mentor junior engineers and design staff, sharing technical expertise and best practices. Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to execute accurate and efficient design and drafting work. Perform stormwater management technical writing, calculations, and reports to support project documentation (especially for EIT candidates). Education Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field is typically required (implied by EIT designation). Experience Minimum of two (2) years of experience in civil or site development projects is required (four (4) years preferred). Experience with diverse, high‑impact infrastructure projects is highly desirable. Certifications/Licenses Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is preferred, but not strictly required. Skills Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite is mandatory. Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
