Qualifications and Preferred Skills:

• Valid Texas Special Education EC-12 certification required
• General education content certification, such as EC-6th grade Generalist, required
• Experience or background working in self-contained special education settings
• Autism-focused experience strongly preferred
• Capability to provide instruction, implement IEPs, and conduct progress monitoring
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver individualized instruction to students in a self-contained environment
• Implement and track compliance with IEPs, adapting lessons as needed
• Monitor and document student progress toward learning goals
• Collaborate with general and special education teachers, families, and support staff
