The Physical Therapist position is based in a state-of-the-art rehabilitation center in East Brunswick. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians to develop individualized treatment plans based on specific needs and conditions.
• Implement and adjust therapy programs, ensuring the application of the latest evidence-based practices across different treatment modalities.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by actively engaging patients and their families in the treatment process, encouraging feedback and promoting their involvement in recovery.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to enhance treatment efficacy and optimize rehabilitation outcomes.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic techniques and equipment during both in-clinic and home-based sessions, following the physician's plan of care.
• Educate patients and their caregivers about conditions, treatment options, and the importance of adherence to therapy to facilitate a seamless recovery process.
• Achieve minimum utilization goals and other key performance indicators as part of organizational objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role encompasses a wide range of patient demographics, including individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, pediatric patients, and athletes. Your ability to adapt treatment strategies to these varied patient backgrounds will be paramount in ensuring their successful recovery while constantly striving to meet functional goals. Developing strong therapeutic relationships will be critical in fostering trust and promoting patient engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-approved program.
• Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with patients, their families, and team members.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including word processing and electronic health record systems.
• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with patients to help them exceed their rehabilitation goals.

Preferred Experience

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is highly desired.
• Two or more years of clinical experience in a relevant physical therapy setting, focusing on diverse patient populations.
• Certification in specialty areas, such as Orthopedics, Pediatrics, or Neurology, is a plus.
• Current CPR certificate is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
