Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks Clinical Sales Specialists to drive revenue growth and build customer relationships in diagnostic solutions across assigned U.S. territories. This field-based role involves developing business opportunities, managing sales pipelines, and serving healthcare systems, hospitals, and clinical laboratories.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic territory and account plans to achieve sales objectives
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities within assigned customer segments and markets
- Build relationships with healthcare professionals, laboratory personnel, and key decision-makers
- Apply consultative approach to understand customer needs, workflows, and business priorities
- Manage full sales cycle from lead generation through negotiation and close
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
- 3+ years sales experience in diagnostics, laboratory, life sciences, or healthcare
- Demonstrated success developing new business and achieving sales targets
- Experience managing territory, account portfolio, and sales pipeline
- Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and relationship-management skills
- Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office applications
- Valid driver's license; ability to travel 50–75% depending on territory
Compensation: $63,900–$85,200 base
