Construction & Property - Accountant

We're an owner-operated real estate group with an in-house GC arm, taking 4-5 projects into development while managing an existing income portfolio. We need one person to own the accounting for both. You'll be responsible for: job costing and cost-to-complete reporting across multiple projects; monthly lender draw packages and progress claims; holdback administration and subcontractor compliance; GST on development, including ITCs and self-supply; full-cycle accounting for the operating properties, including tenant ledgers and CAM reconciliations; rolling cash flow forecasting; multi-entity close and year-end file prep with our external CPA. You should have: 5+ years in accounting with at least 3 in construction or development, hands-on job costing experience, experience preparing draw packages, working knowledge of holdback and lien requirements, and multi-entity bookkeeping experience. CPA is an asset, not a requirement - construction depth matters more. Our A/P and A/R are already electronic and tenants pay online, so this isn't a data-entry job.
